Benjamin L. Feigel | Graphic Designer

Background...

I am an ambitious designer, based in Washington DC.

Design is exploration of thought developed into a visual message. As a designer I use structure to emphasize readability. However, design should not only be readable, it should visually communicate the values and purpose of the conveyed message.

My Education & Experience

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from SUNY Fredonia and I have been a freelance designer since 2004. I started as a contractor for Carrier Corporation in Syracuse, New York and currently work for XO Communications full-time in Herndon, Virginia. At XO I work on brand management and creative for web and print marketing materials from concept to final production.

With my education and experience I feel comfortable working in all areas of design, such as environmental, product, 3D, packaging, way finding, concept, web and art direction.

Design should be intellectual, powerful, and timeless; it is a visual experience to be embraced.
